Nominations: Choral groups and small forms (duets, tercets,

quartets and ensembles of different compositions).

 

 

The purpose of the competition - is to attract attention

to the choral performance

of young people,

to expand the repertoire for choirs with

the involvement of contemporary authors,

and the purpose of the festival is to study, preserve,

develop music and familiarize the public with the centuries-old traditions

of choral and musical culture.

OBJECTIVES of the competition

Promotion of the world's best examples of choral music,

promoting the integration of world musical cultures

Improving the professional level of leaders and members of the choir,

the development of creative, intellectual abilities.

Creation of a platform for creative communication, for the establishment

and strengthening of friendly relations with choirs from different countries,

activation of cultural exchange.

Discovery of new names and talents in the field of choral performance.

Attracting young composers to compose new works for choirs.

CONDITIONS OF CARRYING OUT

All choirs and vocal ensembles that have applied and accepted the position,

participate in the festival-competition.

Each team presents one competitive program, composed as a single concert,

no more than 15 minutes long.

The rights to all audio, video and photography of any performance

at the concerts of the Contest belong to the organizers.

The organizers have the right to reproduce and distribute all recordings

made during the Contest.

APPLICATION FOR PARTICIPATION

Nominations. Age groups.Choirs are invited to participate

in the competition,

the composition of which consists

of 13 or more people (without restrictions);

vocal ensembles from 2 to 12 singers (for folk and jazz ensembles

the minimum is 4 singers,

for vocal ensembles 2 singers).

The age of the participants is limited by nominations.

The competition is held in the following age groups and nominations:

1) The youngest children's choir:

The age of the participants is from 3 to 6 years old.

2) Junior children's choir:a) special;b) general.

The age of the participants is up to 9 years old.

3) Senior children's choir:a) special;b) general.

Age: 10 to 17 years old.

Middle "special" and "general" choirs are allowed

to participate in the category "Senior Choir"

with an indication of their name.

Age - 9-12 years old

4) Choir of boys or girls

The age of the participants is 8-12 years old.

5) Choir of boys and youths, girls and girls.

The age of the participants is 13-17 years old.

6) Youth choir:a) educationalb) amateur14-23 years old.

7) Jazz choir / ensemble:a) children - age: up to 14 years;

b) youth (homogeneous, mixed) - from 14 to 23 years old.

8) Folk choir and / or folklore-ethnographic group:a) for children;

Each team can take part in one or several nominations.

With the participation of the choir in several nominations,

all performed works of the competition program must be different.

For amateur amateur choirs,

the program must contain elements of polyphony (2-3),

one of the three pieces must be unaccompanied.

One of the pieces is classic.

The rest are optional.

The total duration of the performance

is no more than 15 minutes.

For a jazz choir / ensemble, the competition program

includes jazz compositions of their own choice.

Vocalists' improvisation is desirable.

The instrumental solo should be limited as

the choral performance is assessed.

Folk groups perform a program featuring original compositions

in folk style or arrangements of folk songs.

The program may include a game,

a folk ritual or a choreographic scene.

Appropriate choreography or stage performance is allowed,

but singing must prevail.

Professional choirs and vocal ensembles can present

any musical genre within the specified competition framework.

Video recording requirements:

The video recording must be posted on Youtube

or a similar other resource and sent as a link to the recording.

Video recording is made without turning off and stopping the camera

from the beginning to the end of the performed work.

It is allowed to divide 2 works into two separate video recordings.

During the recording, the natural acoustics of the hall,

classroom or any other room where the recording is made are used.

Any editing of the video is prohibited.

Performance evaluation criteria primarily take into account

a) vocal and choral skills, b) artistry.

The complexity, originality of the program, the repertoire structure

of the competitive performance are welcomed.

A prerequisite is "live" instrumental accompaniment - a grand piano,

electronic instruments, traditional folk instruments, minus (accompaniment)

Performance accompanied by a phonogram (plus) is not allowed!

The jury has the right to award not all places and to share

one place between two performers.

The organizing committee and the jury of the contest

reserve the right to establish additional prizes.

Organizations and individuals are given the opportunity

to establish special awards and prizes.

The jury's decision is not subject to revision.

The winners of the competition will receive the title

of Laureate of the international

competition of I, II, III degree or Diploma of the competition,

they will be awarded with diplomas and prizes.

The winners of the contest will receive the title of Laureate

of I, II, III degree or Diploma of the International Competition.

Special title - GRAND PRIX.

GRAND PRIX - Grant Certificate for free participation

in the International Online Competition

of the Holy Land Company,

as well as a Grant Certificate at a discount for participation

in the International Online Competition of our foreign partners,

a gift set from the International Company of

Festivals-Contests "Holy Land" - a diploma the team,

Laureates of I, II and III degrees - a grant certificate with

Diploma winners of 1,2,3 degrees will receive diplomas

The organizing committee reserves all rights to broadcast auditions,

as well as concerts of laureates on radio,

television and the Internet,

filming, recording on video and audio media without paying

a fee to the participants of the competition.

The concert programs of the competition

are evaluated by an international

Jury consistingof professional foreign experts.

The assessment will be made according to the following criteria:

1. The degree of difficulty of the program (maximum 10 points).

2. Intonation, ensemble (maximum 10 points).

3. Rhythm, tempo, dynamics, agogics (maximum 10 points).

4. Sense of style, emotionality, artistry (maximum 10 points).

5. Drafting and presentation of the program, direction,

costumes (maximum 10 points).

The jury's decisions are undeniable.

The possibility of interference is excluded.

The jury has the right to:- not to award all prizes;

- to share prizes (in controversial situations);

- to reward the most outstanding participants with special Diplomas.
